Purposeful Buying is a student-led, nonprofit initiative created at Westcliff University with one simple idea in mind: students helping students—locally and globally.

Our online marketplace is fully operated by Westcliff students under the guidance of faculty and the Program Chair. Through this hands-on experience, students learn real-world e-commerce, digital marketing, sourcing, product selection, and business operations—while applying their skills for a meaningful purpose.

All products featured on Purposeful Buying are selected, researched, and managed by students, and 100% of profits are donated directly to The Pahar Trust, a long-standing partner that has been building schools and supporting education in rural Nepal for more than 20 years.
